Dear Santana Adventures Participants,

From our first international bike tour 34 years ago, Santana has always been committed to our loyal travelers who love to cycle around the world and experience different cultures in new and exciting ways. Our commitment to each of our participants has remained unchanged. With the uncertain nature of the current COVID-19 situation, as well as for the health and wellbeing of our participants and trip leaders.

Please be reassured that we are keeping abreast of the current status of coronavirus (COVID-19) and its effects on international travel. In addition to widely available reporting, including a long-standing subscription to US State Department travel advisories, we monitor “insider” newsletters.

Given the concerns that many of you have, our team will be reaching out to all of our participants that have current reservations on any of our cruises. We’re currently focused on our departures scheduled to occur within the next 75 days. Anytime you’d like to reach us, please use this contact form.

We will continue to be in contact with our contracted cruise lines as well as other vendors where we have made and paid for arrangements on your behalf. If something changes with your scheduled cruise we will update you without delay.

On all of our cruises, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our participants and staff. Santana remains committed to hosting the best experiences possible and has chosen to continue preparations for all our planned departures.

Our immediate hope in this stressful time is that each of you will take care of yourselves. The best way for most of us to maintain and strengthen our health and outlook is to enjoy a few hours of cycling each week.

Our guiding belief is that exercise will lengthen and enhance the lives of our participants. Your plans for travel provide a great incentive to increase your fitness.

We want to thank the many dozens of past and future participants who have contacted us about our personal well-being and financial stability. Jan and I and the entire Santana Family are all healthy. Santana has been debt free for over a decade, and continues to be today. Through decades of experience, we’ve weathered many crises and have grown to understand that these global events are unavoidable. We are financially prepared, and we will get through this.

We would also like to thank each one of you for the confidence and loyalty you have shown Santana over the past four decades. Until we enjoy our next Santana Adventure together, we wish you and your loved ones good health, and hope everyone stays safe during this crisis.
