Santana Adventures was founded in 1984 by Bill and Jan McCready. Bill and Jan get their roots from over 30 years of owning and operating the Santana Cycles Tandem Company, which manufactures and sells customized Tandem Bikes.

The Adventures side of the company was created from the popularity of smaller rallies and tours the McCreadys orchestrated for their friends, many of which are fellow Tandem Cyclists. After years of their friends asking for them to put on bigger events in more exotic places, Santana Adventures was created.
