Careers at Santana Adventures

At Santana Adventures, we create extraordinary cycling vacations in some of the world’s most remarkable destinations. For more than four decades, our team has combined cycling, travel, and cruising to produce one-of-a-kind experiences for thousands of participants. Behind every successful adventure is a dedicated team working together to plan the details, solve challenges, support our participants, and turn an ambitious itinerary into an unforgettable experience.

Working at Santana Adventures is different from working for a large travel company. We’re a small, collaborative team where individual contributions matter and great ideas don’t get lost in layers of management. Our work is fast-paced, varied, and often involves finding creative solutions to challenges that don’t come with a standard playbook. Whether you’re helping participants prepare for an upcoming trip, developing a new itinerary, supporting our sales and marketing efforts, or working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—and help create adventures that our participants remember for years.

Our days can involve everything from helping a participant prepare for an upcoming adventure to researching a new destination, solving an unexpected logistical challenge, or preparing for the launch of a new trip. The work changes throughout the year, and there’s always something new on the horizon.

Because we’re a small company, everyone plays an important role. We value people who take ownership of their work, communicate well, pay attention to the details, and are willing to jump in when something needs to get done. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with company leadership, contribute ideas, and see the results of your work firsthand. We encourage independent thinking and initiative while also expecting our team to collaborate closely when the situation calls for it.

Our participants have high expectations, and so do we. Creating a premium travel experience requires thoughtful planning, accuracy, responsiveness, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service. Travel can also be unpredictable. Weather changes, transportation gets delayed, ships change schedules, and plans occasionally need to be rebuilt quickly. The ability to remain organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented is an important part of succeeding at Santana Adventures.

There’s also something uniquely rewarding about the work. We get to create experiences that take people cycling through beautiful places, introduce them to new cultures, and help them explore parts of the world they may have dreamed about visiting for years. Whether your role puts you directly in contact with our participants or behind the scenes supporting the operation, you become part of the team that makes those experiences possible.

Who Thrives at Santana?

The people who tend to thrive at Santana Adventures are curious, capable, and comfortable taking responsibility. You don’t need to know everything on your first day, but you should enjoy learning, asking good questions, solving problems, and becoming increasingly knowledgeable about the work you do.

We especially value people who can balance independence with teamwork. On a small team, there isn’t always someone standing over your shoulder or a lengthy procedure for every situation. We want people who can use good judgment, recognize when they need help, and take pride in getting things right.

And while an enthusiasm for cycling and travel certainly helps, you don’t need to be an expert cyclist or have traveled the entire world to work here. What matters most is an enthusiasm for what we create, a commitment to taking great care of our participants, and a desire to be part of a team that takes pride in doing exceptional work.
